Essentia Gourmet

We ate at Essentia three times during our holiday, and we will definitely be back if we visit Tenerife again. The food was truly delicious! We had the pleasure of trying their seafood paella (the best paella we've ever had!), tasty pasta dishes, and not least their amazing pinsas. They get our warmest recommendations!

Excellent Cuisine, Friendly Staff & Value for Money Very Friendly staff and very tasty food my partner and I had different pasta dishes and they were both excellent. This is a new restaurant that is trying to do something a little different from all of the others in Los Christianos old town. They offer a mixture of French Spanish and Italian cuisine at reasonable prices and excellent quality. We will definitely be returning to try more dishes from the menu. Give them a try you won't be disappointed.

Essentia is a restaurant that truly impresses with its flavors and the quality of its dishes. I had the pleasure of dining there twice, which in itself is the best recommendation. Food Every dish I tried was exceptional. As a starter, I had pinsa and various sides, which perfectly set the tone for the meal. The dry-aged beef was outstanding, and the T-bone steak was simply brilliant. However, the real highlight was the steak tartare served on a grilled bone with marrow—an absolute must-try for anyone who appreciates bold flavors. Service During my first visit, the service was professional and efficient—a special shoutout to the waitress who took care of us so well. The food was so good that I decided to return the next day. Unfortunately, the experience was different this time. We waited an hour for our food, which was due to a large paella order. However, the staff could have informed us about the delay in advance, which would have made the wait more manageable. While waiting, I observed the staff dynamics. One waitress (shorter in height) was running around, handling everything efficiently, while the other (wearing glasses) seemed more focused on chatting with people, including what appeared to be friends, rather than helping her colleague. This was unfair to her coworker and affected the overall service. Conclusion Essentia is a restaurant worth visiting for its incredible food. The flavors are top-notch, and some dishes are true culinary masterpieces. The service can be excellent, but it needs better organization during busy times. I’m giving 5 stars for the food, but I hope the management will address communication and efficiency issues to make this restaurant truly perfect. I would love to return!

Excellent!! Amazing value for money First visit to this great restaurant where the staff are all lovely and a food experience which is hard to beat. Very good food, we really enjoyed the dinner, all the products are high quality

It's extremely delicious and the portions are generous. The super fresh seafood pasta recommended by the boss is the best I've ever eaten!

The food is delicious. We took mixed fried fish, mussels in marinara style and focaccia. The service is also on top level. Can only recommend this restaurant.

Better than in italy! Italian staff, low prices (similar to the ones in Sicilly), all the food was amazing. We came here 3 times.
